ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK ACQUIRES RIGHTS TO INAUGURAL WBSC PREMIER 12

ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK has signed an agreement with MP & Silva regarding exclusive rights to broadcast the inaugural WBSC Premier12 Global Baseball Championship in Singapore.

Launched by the sport’s world governing body, World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), the new flagship event will feature the 12 highest-ranked professional National Teams in the world.

ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK will broadcast 30 of the 38 games LIVE from the WBSC Premier12 tournament, which will be co-hosted by Japan and Taiwan from 8 – 21 November.

The remaining eight games will be shown on the same day via delayed telecast. All WBSC Premier12 games will be shown on Eleven Sports (Singtel TV Channel 110) and Eleven Plus (Singtel TV channel 111).

Japan, the number one ranked team in the world, will officially open their WBSC Premier12 on 8 November at 19:00 at the 40,000-seat Sapporo Dome, against rival and world number eight, South Korea, in what promises to be an exciting encounter.

In Singapore, ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK already holds the rights to English, Italian, Belgian, Portuguese and Scottish football action, as well as basketball, table tennis, handball, tennis and badminton events from around the world. ELEVEN and ELEVEN SPORTS, the network’s pay TV channels, are available on Singtel TV in Singapore.
